Managing projects

Create a new project

  • Click on the ‘File‘ menu, then select ‘Create project…
  • Enter a descriptive name for the project – e.g. Lipids – and click ‘OK‘.

Putting a project online

  • Click on the ‘File‘ menu, then select ‘Add project…
  • Select the project that you want to make online.
  • Enter the Panel code that will be sent by the LIS for this project e.g. LIP.
  • Select they Type of the project. E.g. Validator.
  • Click ‘OK‘. The project will now appear in the Administrator Client.

Take a project offline

  • In the Administrator Client, select the project that you want to take offline.
  • Click on the ‘File‘ menu, then select ‘Remove project…
  • The project will now disappear from the Administrator Client.
