Managing User Groups and Users

In RippleDown, a user is the login name for each RippleDown user. Each user is associated with a User Group. A User Group is a named set of user permissions that can be defined to have different permissions to the applications, projects and queues for each user.

It is recommended that the user groups and associated permissions are defined before creating and adding the users to the relevant User Group/s.
