To add an existing patient to the scan worklist (i.e. one that has been entered into the database previously):
- Click the ‘Add’ button on the main screen of the scan worklist client application.
- A ‘Select Patient’ dialog will appear, showing a table of all the patients that are in the database.
- Type in the patient’s surname. The list will now only show patients with that surname.
- Select the patient you wish to add, then click the ‘Add’ button.
- The ‘Select Patient’ dialog will close and the patient will appear on the scan worklist.
To add a new patient to the scan worklist:
- Click the ‘Add’ button on the main screen of the scan worklist client application.
- The ‘Select Patient’ dialog will appear.
- Click the ‘New patient’ button.
- A ‘Patient Details’ dialog will appear.
- Enter the patient’s identification details (surname, given name, DOB, gender) and click ‘OK’.
- Both the ‘Patient Details’ and ‘Select Patient’ dialogs will close and the new patient will appear on the scan worklist.
