A Double Set rule consists of:

  • a name
  • The If group attribute that defines a set of primary attributes
  • an option as to whether all, some or none of the If group attribute are present for the rule to apply
  • The Then group attribute that defines another set of primary attributes
  • an option as to whether all, some or none of the Then group attribute are present, if the rule is being applied.
  • an option for whether or not the rule should trigger for the current episode
  • a report section into which the comment for current episode conflicts is written
  • an option for whether or not the rule should trigger for “historical” mismatches between values in the current episode and values in previous episodes
  • an optional cutoff for the number of days that a previous episode must occur in in order to be considered as a possible mutual exclusion violation
  • a report section into which the comment for historical mismatches is written.
