Before you start reviewing a queue, you can set the order of cases presented on that queue. On the Validator main screen, select the required queue with the mouse, but do  not click the Review button. Then use the menu File, then Set case order, then choose one of the following options:

  • Default order – cases are presented in the order in which they are processed by the RippleDown Server,
  • Ascending order – cases are presented in alphanumeric ascending order based on the case name,
  • Descending order – cases are presented in alphanumeric descending order based on the case name.

Any change to the ordering of a queue will be automatically saved and so the next time you log on, the new ordering will still be in effect. Furthermore, the change will affect all Validator users who review this queue.

Irrespective of the order in which cases are presented for review, once a queue is opened you can find a particular case if required. See Reviewing a case.
