The Knowledge Builder allows you to move a comment from one report section to another.
- If the comment that you want to move is showing in the current case, it’s easiest to select it first.
- Start the Comment Manager (use the Main screen menu Edit | Comment Editor).
- Find the comment you want to move, if it is not already selected (ctrl F will bring up the Find dialog).
- Specify the other report section you want to move the comment to, using the menu Move | To report section
The comment will be moved to the top of the other report section. You may need to reorder the comment within this report section.
If an identical comment already exists in the other report section, the original comment will simply be superseded by the identical one.
Note: moving a comment to a new report section will change any reports that contain this comment. Each such report should be reviewed to check that the wording of the report is appropriate, and that the auto-validation settings are as required.
Note: any ‘removed’ version of the comment (created when the original comment is removed by a rule) is also moved. This can be seen if you have set the option to show removed comments.
