To add an existing patient to the scan worklist (i.e. one that has been entered into the database previously):

  1. Click the ‘Add’ button on the main screen of the scan worklist client application.
  2. A ‘Select Patient’ dialog will appear, showing a table of all the patients that are in the database.
  3. Type in the patient’s surname. The list will now only show patients with that surname.
  4. Select the patient you wish to add, then click the ‘Add’ button.
  5. The ‘Select Patient’ dialog will close and the patient will appear on the scan worklist.

To add a new patient to the scan worklist:

  1. Click the ‘Add’ button on the main screen of the scan worklist client application.
  2. The ‘Select Patient’ dialog will appear.
  3. Click the ‘New patient’ button.
  4. A ‘Patient Details’ dialog will appear.
  5. Enter the patient’s identification details (surname, given name, DOB, gender) and click ‘OK’.
  6. Both the ‘Patient Details’ and ‘Select Patient’ dialogs will close and the new patient will appear on the scan worklist.
