To add a new RippleDown user, and to assign that user the appropriate permissions:
- Start the RippleDown Administrator
- Select the menu Users | Manage users….
- Click the ‘Add’ button.
- Enter the name and password.
- Enter the optional email address. The email address is used if cases are to be referred to this user from the Validator or Auditor.
- Select the user groups that this user should belong to. The permissions for this user will be the sum of all the permissions in theĀ selected user groups. If the list of user groups is empty it is necessary to add user groups and then modify the user you have created (see user groups).
