The Auditor Case Viewer screen has:
- A view of the data in the case.
- A list of likely errors for this case. These are comments that have been added by rules.
- A list of error actions that have been created to record the errors that were actually found for this case.
- A status bar showing the history of the current audit session.
The procedure for reviewing a case is as follows:
- Check for the errors that the comments are suggesting as likely for this case.
- Fix any confirmed errors in the Lab System.
- Using the list of actions, record which corrections were made.
- Activate the ‘Submit’ button to send the case to the server for statistical analysis.
If there were in fact no real errors in the case, select the ‘Request ok’ option and activate the ‘Submit’ button.
The possible actions are, broadly, to deal with the case now, or to refer it to someone else to deal with later.
Using the Back button it is also possible to go back in the current session, to cases previously skipped, referred, accepted or actioned and to record additional actions.
