A Numeric Range Attribute is used to flag episodes in which the values of a primary attribute lie within a specified range.
For example suppose that a distinction needed to be made between pediatric cases and adult cases. A numeric range based on the age will test true for patients with an age less than thirteen years:
To create a Numeric Range attribute, start the Attribute Editor (Edit | Attribute Manager). Select the Primary Attribute to which the Numeric Range Attribute will refer. Then use the menu Edit | Add range.
