An “Internal” comment is a note given to the case by the Knowledge Base when queuing the case to the Validator, normally indicating a possible problem with this case and perhaps recommending some corrective action to be taken using the facilities of the Online Information Facility. Whenever an internal comment is given, it appears in the Validator in a separate window as shown below:
If you choose to approve a case that has an internal comment, then only the report (that is, the text in the Interpretation window) is sent back to the Online Information System. That is, internal comments appearing in the Validator are never released.
If there is a genuine problem with the case, e.g. some test result is missing, you my need to skip or delete the case and wait for it to be re-queued.
