“Internal” comments are intended to be seen in the process of reviewing reports. They are not intended to be released. Typically, these comments indicate a problem in the case or some alert situation.
To create an Internal comment for a case, use the Rule Wizard to add a comment in the Report Section called “Internal”.
If reports are being reviewed in the Validator, any internal comments will be shown in a separate window, and will not be sent to the External Information System once the report is approved. In particular, these comments do not need to be deleted.
If reports are being reviewed using the facilities of the External Information System, any internal comments will be appended to the report and so will have to be manually removed by the person reviewing the case.
If a case has any Internal comment, it will never be autovalidated.
